The Rolling Memorial for Fallen Firefighters

Welcome to the Rolling Memorial for Fallen Firefighters.

We are dedicated to making sure that those brave souls are remembered for their ultimate sacrifice and that they are not forgotten. We travel from coast to coast in honor of our brave fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, friends, loved-ones and our neighbors.

Our Memorial Truck is a 1975 Seagrave tractor-drawn aerial ladder truck.
It was retired from the Los Angeles City
Fire Department in 1999 and purchased from surplus by a group of dedicated firefighters.

The memorial we first created was
The California Rolling Memorial for Fallen Firefighters

The tragic events of September 11, 2001 changed all of that.
The souls that were lost on that day are not to be forgotten.

The Rolling Memorial for Fallen Firefighters,
based out of San Juan Capistrano, California, memorializes the firefighters that made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, across the Nation.

Why is the truck numbered 343?
Ladder 343 represents the 343 Fire Department of New York firefighters who died in the line of duty on September 11.

Several firefighters who operate the Memorial Truck came to New York City afterwards to support in the recovery and memorial efforts.

Honoring the Fallen Firefighters of California

And all those of September 11, 2001
